About the Position: The mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. We provide worldwide on-site maintenance services and training support.
Duties
Perform team lead duties to ensure the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services.
Lead the team in identifying, distributing and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established work flow, skill level and/or occupational specialization.
Provide advice and assistance to other Administrative Officers in all areas of recruitment initiatives, time issues and any other problems that may arise in their day-to-day activities.
Serve as action officer between the Civilian Personnel Office and the organization pertaining to all aspects of personnel management, reorganization/realignment, organization structuring, position management, and manpower utilization.
Provide advice and assistance to management in such areas as; recruitment initiatives to replace loss of skilled employees, recruitment and hire lag problems, mission or workload expansion, etc.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Advising management on financial, personnel, and manpower needs; Applying evaluative methods to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of administration procedures; AND Implementing new or modified automated work methods that support administrative operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
