This position is in the Systems and Operations Safety Office located within the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center which serves as the Army's technology leader for armament systems. DEVCOM AC ensures dominance of Army capabilities by researching, developing, integrating and delivering technology-enabled armament solutions to our Warfighters. Armaments Center has a long tradition as the primary research and development center for new and existing armament systems.

Duties

Analyze the findings of safety inspections for program compliance to maintain safety standards for the organization Implement the Safety and Occupational Health Program to ensure compliance for the organization Provide direction, policy and guidance in the application of safety standards to maintain organizational safety compliance

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Business travel is required up to 10%.
• Moving expenses are not authorized for this position.
• Three-year trial/probationary period may be required.
