This position is located in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP),Operations Division (OD). The incumbent of this position serves as a Digital Communications and Training & Technical Assistance Coordinator with responsibility of managing OJJDP's digital communications and related training and technical assistance (TTA) initiatives, and coordinating related work of OJJDP and its partner organizations.
Duties
- Leads strategic planning, development, and analysis of both established and innovative digital communications and training and technical assistance (TTA) initiatives in situations lacking precedent.
- Provides consultation to OJJDP leadership and staff regarding digital communications and TTA matters, encompassing strategic planning, standards, agency budget, policies, procedures, collaborative opportunities, dissemination strategies, data responses, messaging, and sensitive or contentious topics.
- Coordinates, develops, and executes informational programs at OJJDP focusing on digital communications and TTA, overseeing the creation of resource materials and guidance.
- Offers strategic advice and counsel to OJJDP leadership and staff on coordinating the agency's array of digital communications and TTA initiatives focused on juvenile justice and child protection.
- Monitors contractor activities and progress toward meeting contractual terms, facilitating communication and resolving technical challenges.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
Applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level. Specialized experience is experience which is in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Examples of specialized experience include:
-Conducts strategic planning, development and analysis of digital communications and training and technical assistance initiatives, encompassing standards, budget, policies, procedures, collaborative opportunities, dissemination strategies, data responses, messaging, and sensitive or contentious topics.
-Coordinates with program managers involved in digital communications and training and technical assistance projects for juvenile justice and child protection communities to streamline efforts and prevent redundancy.
-Implements inventive strategies aimed at maximizing the dissemination of training and technical assistance funded by the agency.
