About the Position: Incumbent will serve as a technical advisor and action officer for training ammunition and missile management for all TRADOC accounts.
Duties
This list is not all-inclusive:
Assist with the implementation and management of the Training Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS).
Provide subject matter expertise in the development of automated systems such as the Institutional Training Mission Management Tool (ITMMT) utilized to automate documentation actions and processes.
Determine FY ammunition requirements and authorizations to ensure adequate resources are available to support training requirements.
Represent TRADOC at a variety of committee meetings, conferences, and seminars involving training ammunition requirements, allocations, distribution, and expenditures as applied to the Army Training Ammunition Management Systems.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Secret security clearance.
- This position may require temporary duty (TDY) for business for up to 10% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes work that includes: 1) experience using an automated systems such as the Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS); 2) forecasting, ordering, and procuring standard and nonstandard ammunition; AND 3) Provided oversight, instruction, information and guidance to subordinate activities on the operation, operator's duties, and use of a systems such as TAMIS and the Institutional Training Mission Management Tool (ITMMT). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
