You will serve as Program Manager within the Rapid Capability Engineering Group, Rapid Capability Solutions Department, UxS Systems Engineering Branch, and Ship and Air Integrated Warfare Division of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Webster Outlying Field.
Duties
You will serve as the Unmanned Mission Control System (UCMS) Lead in support of the Unmanned Carrier Aviation program office (PMA-268) and assigned air vehicle systems.
You will provide authoritative expert guidance and rapid program/project management for technical and operational functions to include engineering/technical support in developing information technology rapid solutions.
You will provide technical support and oversight for the development, acquisition, update, and test of C5ISR systems throughout the project lifecycle focused involving customers and aviation platforms.
You will oversee the planning and execution of complex system/system-of-system unmanned system integration efforts that meet program cost, schedule and performance requirements.
You will collaborate with sponsor and team members to ensure appropriate funding is received and executed in accordance with program, agency, and statutory financial requirements.
You will function as an expert on matters pertaining to the resources required for the development and integration of unmanned control system technologies.
You will formulate novel approaches using knowledge of related projects to resolve a variety of technological and/or corporate problems.
You will coordinate efforts of a team of specialists engaged in performing highly technical activities across multivariate disciplines and throughout team-wide locations.
You will liaison with others (e.g., technicians, professionals, etc.) on latest trends in technology.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized Program Manager work experience equivalent to the DA-05 or equivalent GS-Grade Level (GS-12/13) in the Federal Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience includes: 1) Providing program management and technical leadership to engineers, technicians, and IT professionals in support of manned and unmanned aviation systems; 2) Implementing and managing the execution of rapid integration projects involving of Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Combat Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems, computer networks, IT systems and related aviation and electronic systems; 3) Leading technical innovation and organizational change to adapt with industry growth in technology; 4) Coordinating with internal and external contacts to develop immediate and future solutions in support of the warfighter; and 5) Directing the planning of resources to accomplish assigned program goals and objectives.
