About the Position: Serves as a specialist in the EEO office, with primary responsibility for providing program guidance and oversight for all of the various special emphasis employment programs and the Affirmative Employment Program at the USA IMA National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California.

Duties

Serves as an advisor to the EEO Officer, EEO staff, Commanders, and managers throughout the installation, to include tenant activities, in matters concerning all areas of the EEO special emphasis programs. Assist in establishing and maintaining special emphasis program. Assist management officials, administrative officers, legal, human resources, and safety and occupational health personnel to implement an effective reasonable accommodation (RA) process for individuals with disabilities. Provides staff assistance in the form of formal and informal training and briefings on program status, issues, problems, and improvements.

OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Employment Law. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
