Duties
Research directives to determine the need for supplemental guidance to include directives dealing with EEO programs.
Analyze a wide complex variety of interrelated employment and personnel related issues to advise senior leaders.
Conduct statistical analyses of personnel management elements to determine whether barriers to equality exist.
Oversee and monitor the EEO complaints processing system and Special Emphasis Programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Determine need for and initiates action to obtain adequate personnel, funds, and equipment to manage a viable, proactive EEO program.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
- This position has been designated "Mission Essential".
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience applying a wide range of EEO program management methods to ensure compliance regulatory guidance. Experience researching and utilizing the laws, regulations, policies and practices of a Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Program such as; Office of Personnel Management, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Merit Systems Protection Board, Civil Rights, EEO laws Code of Federal Regulations, Court decisions, Army Regulations and management directives to adjudicate, adjust and appeal EEO complaints. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-???????11).
