About the Position: Position is located at US Army Installation Management Command, US Army Garrison, Fort Irwin, California. Responsible for overseeing the Equal Employment Opportunity Office on the installation. Position is Telework Eligible - as determined by the agency policy.

Duties

Research directives to determine the need for supplemental guidance to include directives dealing with EEO programs. Analyze a wide complex variety of interrelated employment and personnel related issues to advise senior leaders. Conduct statistical analyses of personnel management elements to determine whether barriers to equality exist. Oversee and monitor the EEO complaints processing system and Special Emphasis Programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Determine need for and initiates action to obtain adequate personnel, funds, and equipment to manage a viable, proactive EEO program.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
