Duties
As a Supervisory Management Analyst, you will:
Oversees and monitors assigned Field Office work as it pertains to public housing and or housing choice voucher programs; provides technical assistance to Field Offices that deal with the most challenging and complex PHAs; provides mastery-level advisory assistance in developing solutions to the most complex of PHA management, physical, financial, governance, and operational issues.
Positively influences and skillfully negotiates with PHAs through technical assistance in executing agreements and arrangements for the recovery of troubled public housing inventory and maintaining the long- term viability of the program.
Articulates and communicates assignments, potential program issues problems to be addressed, project milestones, and deadlines and timeframes for completion.
Coaches the staff in the selection and application of appropriate problem-solving methods and techniques, and provides advice on work methods, practices, and procedures.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-14 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
-Analyzing and evaluating issues related to office operations, policies and procedures; AND
-Contributing to the development of policies; AND
-Developing reports for management officials that outline findings and solutions or recommendations for improvements; AND
-Leading/coordinating projects or teams AND/OR building relationships in designated communities with organizations, federal, state, or local agencies (e.g., government and advocacy groups).
