You will serve as a Naval Architecture Techncian in the Production Department of NAVAL HISTORY HERITAGE CMD DETACH.
Duties
You will serve as a technology expert in all architectural matters including the USS Constitution.
You will prepare scheduling documents, status reports, milestone charts, and man-day estimates for projects.
You will work on projects including the support of development, modification of existing naval architectural systems to make them applicable to the USS Constitution.
You will review drawings and specifications prepared by contractors and assure compliance with contract guidelines/milestones.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing research, design development, drawing preparation or following engineering/engineering calculations for architectural projects. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following: 1) Reviewing technical working documents to ensure site preparation/restoration, pre-fabrication, rip out, modification, re-installation and testing of equipment and components are detailed; 2) Evaluating a variety of drawings, material specifications, test procedures and other documents pertaining to complex projects are accurate and in compliance with specifications; 3) Applying naval architectural engineering knowledge to solve problems on complex projects on shipboard naval architectural systems, and components; 4) Utilizing architectural systems like AutoCAD for developing drawings and modifying existing drawings.
