Duties
You will perform diagnoses, modification, overhaul, repair, and maintenance of complex electrical devices, equipment and components.
You will prototype and review new overhaul and test procedures on items being introduced into the workload.
You will set up and operate computer-controlled automatic test equipment (ATE) to run established and new diagnostic programs in various operational and functional test modes to perform pretest or final checkout.
You will use mechanical and electrical hand tools common to the trade and operate lathes, drill presses, and grinders.
You will use electrical drawings.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You must be willing and able to lift and/or carry loads/items up to 40 pounds in weight.
- You are required to wear personal protective equipment such as hearing protection, safety shoes, and safety glasses or goggles.
- You may be required to work overtime for this position.
- You must be willing and able to obtain and maintain an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Certification for this position.
- This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
