The Infrastructure Readiness Planner is an IT professional who reports to the infrastructure Readiness Manager in Operations within the Technology and Integration Office for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM-IO)
Duties
Planning and scheduling of work tasks and personnel; gathering and analyzing information to prepare reports on the progress of projects.
Ensuring desired results by determining and implementing objectives, and allocating appropriate resources interfaces with the client sponsor.
Provide consistent risk updates for scheduling activities and an analysis of why timelines are not being met.
Consult with customers to evaluate functional requirements.
Define project scope and objectives based on customer requirements.
Manage the information technology (IT) planning process to ensure that development solutions meet customer requirements.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

You may qualify based on your experience as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-13 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include but are not limited to knowledge and experience in project management disciplines such as analysis, project planning, budgeting, cost analysis, acquisition, configuration management, data management, information systems, network security, and IT architecture. Applicants should possess a working knowledge of the hardware, software, operating systems, and peripherals available.
