You will serve as a TRAINING TECHNICIAN (MODELING & SIMULATIONS) in the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center of OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING GENERAL.

Duties
You will plan and operate simulations in support of training events to include simulations database construction and management, exercise control support, simulations testing, and simulation federation operations.
You will plan and operate simulations to command, control, communications, and computer (C4) equipment interfaces.
You will instruct maneuver simulation models in support of live, virtual and constructive environments.
You will identify simulation training, equipment, and contractor resources that are required in support of simulation supported events.
You will research and implement new technology capable of modeling technology employed in modern-day battlefields.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Work is typically performed in an adequately lighted and climate-controlled area. Incumbent may be required to attend experiments and training exercises, which could require considerable amounts of standing and walking.
- Incumbent will be required to set-up and breakdown modeling and simulations equipment which will require lifting, bending, stooping, reaching and crouching.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
GS-09:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector planning, coordinating, integrating, and operating simulation models.
GS-07:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector administering, instructing, and maintaining simulation models in support of simulation events.
