About the Position: Incumbent is a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist and Army Materiel Command Staff Manager for the Army Prepositioned Stock programs.
Duties
Exercise the full range of supervisory personnel management and authority in directing a staff of civilian and military personnel.
Plan work to be accomplished, interpret policy and procedures, establish priorities to ensure the quality of the work, and ensure that the work is pursuant to established schedules and milestones.
Develop policy, plans, procedures, and functional directives.
Coordinates new and revised planning concepts.
Serves as chairperson and/or spokesperson on service committees and study groups engaged in planning, developing, and implementing plans.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- May be subject to a supervisory probationary period.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually.
- TDY travel may occasionally be required.
- Requires drug screen.
- Requires Tier 5, Top Secret Clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes: analyze and evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of logistics readiness data; identify factors impacting materiel readiness; utilize qualitative and quantitative methods for assessment of logistics readiness; manage readiness program goals, events, and milestones. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
