Duties
You will direct the work efforts of journeymen and lower level subordinates of several trades performing repair, rebuild, Inspect and Repair As Necessary (IROAN), fabrication, and modification of equipment.
You will be responsible for analyzing work schedules and other production and administrative directives, developing plans, and assigning work to the Product Coordinator and subordinate employees to obtain the desired results.
You will be responsible for the cost, quality, and schedule of work produced by the product teams under your supervision.
You will ensure that efficient and economical work operations are performed.
You will plan, schedule, and coordinate various work operations determining necessary manpower, material, equipment, and facilities required to repair and/or modify various equipment processed.
You will use the principles of Total Quality Leadership to analyze processes, procedures, and methods to assess and continuously improve the quality and cost effectiveness of the Product Team and Business Center.
Requirements

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- You must be able to do extensive standing and walking, along with bending, stooping, climbing in and out of equipment, and climbing ladders and stairs.

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: Planning - Plans for completion of current monthly and quarterly workload according to schedules; Investigates job problems and provides solutions as required Coordinates availability of with the process standards and quality assurance requirements for low volume, unplanned requirement to coordinate the Process Control Specialist; Work direction - Using the principles of Total Quality Leadership, analyzes processes, procedures, and methods to assess and continuously improve the quality and cost effectiveness of the Product Team and Business Center. Establishes policies and procedures conducive to establishing a good working climate; Administration - Initiates recommendation for selection, promotions, or reassignment of subordinates; Provides training to journeyman level mechanics on new and unfamiliar components and cross-training to personnel in related trades.
