Duties
Serve as the US Army Pacific executive agent for the centralized management of the Range and Training Land Management Program and Range Safety Program.
Ensure Sustainable Range Program (SRP) capabilities reflect training readiness priorities.
Advise on all issues concerning live fire training requirements and SRP range project development.
Plan, develop, and implement the range and training land safety program.
Conduct Staff Assistance Visits (SAVs) and inspections of major subordinate commands.
Represent command at training conferences, briefings, and meetings.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- The incumbent to be able to complete the Interservice Range Safety Course (Intermediate) or the Range Safety course level 2.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing a range and training land management program in support of military training operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
