About the Position: Serves as Training Systems Management Specialist at Army Training Support Center (ATSC), Ft. Eustis, VA.
This position is eligible for regular and recurring telework, as determined by the agency policy.
Duties
Develop regulatory guidance and policy on requirements determinations and the acquisition process for system and non-system TADSS in support of the Army Training Support System Enterprise (TSSE).
Coordinate with Stakeholders to identify training support modernization requirements in meetings and document staffing.
Leads, facilitates, briefs, and participates in work groups supporting TSS internal processes or Army-level forums.
Maintains visibility on the Mission Essential Requirements (MER) for all fielded, developing, or planned training enabler programs as a major component of the TSS.
Conducts review of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documents to ensure training support and trainability are considered as part of system performance attributes.
Requirements

- SECRET CLEARANCE: Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 25% of the time.
- CERTIFICATION(S): This position requires the employee to be CP/FC32, Level 1 certified NLT 24-months from Entry On Duty in the position.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes work such as: 1) Analyzing and/or presenting information in written and oral formats; 2) Conducting assessments, generating courses of action, and/or recommending prioritization of training support requirements to mitigate training gaps; AND 3) Reviewing concepts, organizational designs, and processes that support system and/or non-systems Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
