About the Position: The incumbent will be assigned to the 404th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Supply and Services Division, at Fort Johnson, Louisiana.
Duties
Establish priorities and deadlines to provide for the overall accomplishment of the installation supply and services activities and/or other mission.
Control the receipt, utilization, distribution, shipment, disposal, accountability, and maintenance of supplies, materials, equipment, and other property.
Conduct internal review evaluations and supply performance studies to determine efficiency of support and service.
Exercise the full range of supervisory duties over subordinate administrative, clerical, and trades and craft employees.
Provide contract oversight through assigned Contracting Officer Representative and Quality Assurance Evaluation staff.
Review, monitor, assess proposed changes, evaluate and certify contractor performance and customer service in the installation supply and services activities.
Provide technical assistance services to the contracting officer to include proposed changes and or modification in workload, mission and contract provisions, and certification of services.
Serve as the division alternate Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
Provide contract requirements development and contract monitoring support; assist in developing policy, performance work statements, statements of work, and other contract documentation.
Perform a variety of special logistics projects and assignments.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Determining improvements in policies, plans, methods, procedures, systems, or techniques of a supply program; 2) Monitoring and/or evaluating contractor performance; 3) Providing guidance on supply management policies and/or procedures; and 4) Leading projects and/or personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
