This position is located in the Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Safety and Technical Training, Strategic Outreach Directorate (AJI-4). This Directorate manages the Safety and Technical Training Finance, Contracts, Outreach, Personnel, and Metrics programs.

Duties

The Management Analyst applies expert knowledge of management and business practices to analyze the effectiveness of enterprise operations in meeting strategic goals. The Analyst provides leadership for highly complex and challenging activities under the minimal direction of a the Group manager. Conducts and coordinates a wide variety of complex analytical studies on the AJI organization, structure, and staffing levels. Documents findings of study and prepares recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes. Develops and recommends changes to improve organizational efficiency and productivity. This work impact directly on the objectives of the Safety and Technical Training Service Unit, the ATO, and the strategic goals of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-I, FG/GS-13 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE IS DEFINED AS:Experience developing spreadsheets, databases and visualization tools to extract and report corporate performance trends.Experience leading cross-functional teams as a Project Coordinator to analyze enterprise, Finance, Contracts, Personnel and Communications to recommend strategic improvements to leadership.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
