You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY SPECIALIST in the SUPPORT SECTION, FACILITIES DIVISION of MARINE CORPS RECRUIT DEPOT.
Duties
You will plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control the operations of the Supply Unit.
You will ensure all work, functions, and operations are performed in accordance with current laws, rules, regulations, orders, manuals, etc.
You will initiate, plan, direct and coordinate policy and procedural changes affecting the division in regards to supply and material support.
You will evaluate automation failure, erroneous data, etc., that may appear in various file, and recommend the most logical, feasible and/or efficient recovery methods.
You will review job plans for material and contract requirements and establish Required Delivery Dates (RDOS’s) based on command priorities.
You will check Material Requirements Issue (MI) documents, DD-1149’s, and FF-2235’s for accuracy and completeness, and prepare correspondence or reports where necessary.
You will provide advice and guidance on small purchase methods as outlines in the Federal Acquisition Regulations, and review qualitative and quantitative aspects of purchase orders and credit card purchases.
You will evaluate current stocks and make recommendations to management concerning stock levels or cost concerns.
You will supervise and monitor the financial memorandum records and related fiscal reports used to control the division’s funds.
You will coordinate with Human Resources Officer (HRO) to ensure billets are recruited and staffed.
You will serve as the first level supervisor, exercising full scope of supervisory responsibilities over the Supply Technicians.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Providing program direction, management, and technical advice in the financial, administrative, and supply fields; AND planning and prioritizing the work efforts of all subordinates.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with one of the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.M., if related
