You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST in the Property Control Office, Service and Supply Division of MARINE CORPS RECRUIT DEPOT.
Duties
You will serve as the Property Control Officer responsible for providing supply support, certifying officer, and Defense Agency Initiative Information Owner (DAI IO) for all units of associated supply and property records.
You will exercise supervisory authority by interviewing, performance appraisals, work assignments, training, awards, promotions, and supporting goals and objectives of Equal Employment Opportunity programs.
You will plan, organize, and direct the operating supply program to ensure that supplies and material are available for using organizations to accomplish their functions.
You will analyze, formulate, interpret, and adapt supply chain policies, procedures, and directives to management, team members, and or customers.
You will establish long range plans to support mission, personnel management, and forecasting additional space for supply demands.
You will coordinate and maintain liaison with depot operations, government agencies, and commercial vendors.
You will prepare official correspondence, draft briefings for official higher level meetings.
You will develop and execute budget cost data to accomplish anticipated workload to include manpower, facilities, equipment, supplies and other costs for required justification.

- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This position is eligible for part time, full time or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Oversee a team in managing, implementing, or executing of inventory management practices, procedures, accounting and dispute functions, or auditing of supply systems in compliance with implemented guidance; AND procurement, training, obligating funds, accounting, bill paying, liquidation, or disputes.
