You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Aviation Supply Department (ASD) and Fleet Readiness Center Northwest (FRCNW) of COMMANDER ELEC ATTACK WING PAC FLEET.
Duties
You will serve as financial analyst in the installations Financial Resource Management Office, performing accounting, budget, financial reporting and financial systems for Aviation Support Division and Fleet Readiness Center Northwest (FRCNW).
You will be responsible for formulation of FRCNW and Annual Operating and Maintenance (AOM) budget and cost estimates to support plans and programs of the Department of Navy (DON).
You will provide financial support services, perform analysis and classification of unusual transactions requiring thorough research and understanding a wide variety of transactions and accounts, trouble shoot problems and resolve problematic areas.
You will serve as a source of information for a wide variety of appropriated and reimbursable funds to ensure the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of supporting budget execution reports.
You will perform tasks involving budget execution by compiling resource data from various financial management reports.
You will maintain accounts pertaining to reimbursable customers that involve a variety of transactions generated by a number of financial/supply programs and contain frequent and varied adjustments.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- This is a Financial Management Level 1 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating accounting and budgetary data for funding programs to ensure financial obligations and mission objectives are accomplished with advanced knowledge of DoD automated financial systems.

Education
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
