As a IT Strategic Change Management & Communications Director at the GS-0301-15, you will be part of U.S. Office of Personnel Management's (OPM), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), IT Strategy and Policy Division (ITSP). If selected, you will be responsible for performing duties associated with the leadership, development, and maintenance of a customer-focused, organizational change management & communications program.
Duties
Identifies opportunities for senior leaders to share updates on agency organizational change management efforts and conveys the impact of these enhancements to a broad customer and employee base. Major Duty
Formulates the operational policies, instructions, methods, and programs within the framework of legislation, policies, and regulations.
Conducts briefings to negotiate and persuade agency officials to accept and implement recommended approaches.
Reviews proposed policies, and procedures inherent to the Agency's IT and organizational change management to coordinate and partner with OCIO staff, specifically ITSP staff and cross-functionality across the agency.
Qualifications
For the GS 15: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 level in the Federal Government (or private sector equivalent) performing all the following:
1. Managing various information technology projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
2. Leading the design and execution of content management frameworks to streamline the delivery of key messages.
3. Creating and disseminating of strategic content to drive organizational change.
4. Driving organizational change management objects to ensure they meet agency goals.
Merit promotion applicants must meet the time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-14 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS15 level.
