About the Position: The incumbent will serve as Human Resources Specialist (Military) at the Field Artillery Proponent Fort Sill, OK.
Duties
Fulfill FA MOS assignments IAW approved guidance.
The Program Coordinator is responsible for implementing approved processes and practices designed to ensure personnel are assigned the appropriate FA MOS meeting MOS assignment distribution guidance.
Assignment of follow-on FA AIT start dates. The Program Coordinator is responsible for assigning AIT start dates in accordance with published class dates.
Maintain Personnel Trend and Personnel Projection Data.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining access to Army systems of record and employ MS office suite of software tools in support of data queries.
The Program Coordinator is responsible for establishing and maintaining dialogue and or coordinating with external agencies across the larger accessions enterprise.
Responsible for maintaining historical FA MOS assignments and AIT assignments.
Requirements

- This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 25% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes the following: Review and incorporate projected and current on hand personnel quantities to develop and recommend changes to Field Artillery (FA) MOS assignment distribution based upon historical trends, projections and proponent guidance; Participate in the development of concepts and/or policies related to FA MOS assignments; and Use knowledge of the enlisted force structure and FA career field to make recommendations on personnel actions, personnel management issues, and FA MOS assignment issues that may impact the force. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administrative, Business Management, or Human Resource.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
