You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Command Suite, Comptroller, Navy Expeditionary Medical Support Command (NAVEXPMEDSUPCOM) of NAVMEDREADLOGCMD.

Duties

You will assist to design, build, and maintain expeditionary medical facilities to include all process elements such as design, procurement, hospital integration, storage, shipment, and life-cycle support. You will research, compile, prepare, summarize and analyze data for various financial reports in regards to budget formulation and execution, accounting, and audit readiness. You will monitor and validate obligations and expenditures throughout the fiscal year. You will provide recommendations for the increase or recoupment of funded obligations to the Financial Manager to ensure resources are effectively managed. You will perform duties in regard to civilian labor budgets, labor reconciliation, and various reports, as well as serve as alternate Customer Service Representative (CSR) and SLDCADA Administrator. You will serve as primary agency Program Coordinator for Government Travel Card Program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing integrated federal financial management systems such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) or similar systems and sub-systems to extract data, identify and resolve system problems, and maintain data integrity; Experience analyzing, evaluating and reviewing budget and program issues and financial data and reports using business tools and applications; Experience preparing, reviewing and reconciling financial statements and financial reports to meet reporting requirements and to support management decisions; Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Financial Administration and Program Series 0501 (opm.gov) Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
