You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Command Suite, Comptroller, Navy Expeditionary Medical Support Command (NAVEXPMEDSUPCOM), Cheatham Annex (CAX) of NAVMEDREADLOGCMD.
Duties
You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternating methods of financial management of organization programs and administrative operations.
You will analyze data for discrepancies using a financial management systems.
You will utilize analytical skills to the identification, analysis and conceptualization of budgetary problems and development solutions.
You will manage the Command Audit/IG Program.

- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience with administration, management, and supervision of travel programs, Government Travel Card Program, civilian time and attendance and audit readiness programs;
Experience reviewing and auditing data and developing various reports and analysis for internal controls;
Experience performing or advising on budget administration to include formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities,
Experience presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities, review and evaluate budget requests/ controls, and reporting of obligations and expenditures;
