About the Position: U.S. Military Academy, West Point, NY is an academic institution located in the Hudson River Valley, 50 miles from New York City. The historic site is the oldest continuously occupied military post in America. Employees have access to Eisenhower Hall Theater, Hudson Valley's performing arts and recreational facilities.

Duties

Serves as the Branch Chief for the Work Management Branch of the Business Operations and Integration Division (BOID) within the Directorate of Public Works (DPW). Directs the project work management functions for the directorate including work reception, work prioritization, and project tracking. Participates with the Director and Division Chiefs to formulate goals, policies and objectives for the provision of installation wide support services. Provides oversight to subordinate staff utilizing the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Common Levels of Service (CLS) and the Installation Status Report (ISR), IMCOM’s Narrative Funding Guidance and all other applicable regulations. Provides technical direction in the preparation of initial estimates for use in developing project scopes, planning purposes, and preliminary designs. Determines overall work objectives of the branch to assure maximum accomplishments. Monitors the work progress to assure division and branch operation objectives are met, making necessary technical or managerial adjustments as needed.

  • One-year Supervisory trial/probationary period may be required.
