This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Provides planning, development, coordination and guidance on maintenance, construction and budgetary program requirements.
Duties
Provides planning, development, coordination and guidance on all cyclic maintenance, minor and major construction, and future budgetary program requirements.
Develops the Annual Work Plan (AWP).
Submits a monthly budget review to the Chief.
Develops the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) documents based on integration of Resource Management Plan (RMP) and Military Construction Account (MCA).
Uses an automated system to maintain records and to generate reports, spreadsheets, and charts.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: Specialized experience is defined as work that involves: 1) Assisting with planning projects related to the construction, maintenance, and/or repair of facilities; 2) Assisting with formulating budget requirements for construction projects; and 3) Using an automated database to maintain records, generate reports, spreadsheets, and/or charts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10).
