About the Position: As a Supply Systems Analyst, incumbent is assigned responsibility for special projects and also continuing assignments relative to specific Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) applications.
Duties
Serve as a supply systems analyst providing quality supply management/stock control support to include the development, implementation and maintenance of the Material Master File data and operating procedures and guidance.
Plans, develops, coordinates, and conducts extensive studies and comprehensive analyses of systems, procedures, methods, and practices pertaining to data processing system programs.
Analyze supply and logistics policies, procedures, and practices to determine their impact on Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) applications and other systems.
Research, analyze complex supply programs, evaluating effectiveness and efficiency of logistic system programs, and recommend solutions to complex supply problems.
Provides advice and guidance on all aspects of complex supply programs and operations.
Requirements
- This position has a Data Analytics requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for Data Analytics level two (2) certification within 24 months of being placed on the position.
- Temporary Duty (TDY)/Travel may be up to 10% of the time for the position.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes researching and analyzing complex supply system programs; developing supply processes and programs to review, analyze, interpret and recommend changes to regulations; utilizing various logistics programs, such as Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) applications to provide accurate supply information; research and analyze logistics systems/supply system deficiencies and resolve issues; providing advice and guidance on complex system supply programs and operations; and conducts extensive studies and comprehensive analysis of systems, procedures, methods and practices pertaining to broad supply LMP system applications. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
