About the Position: Serves as a staff level analyst engaged in the development of supply policies and programs in assigned areas. This position is located in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

Duties

Perform resource planning, programming, budgeting and make recommendations to improvement of overall supply management program and systems. Generate products utilizing LMI-DST data to respond to routine request for information. Ensure all program submissions are in compliance with prescribed supply policies, regulations, guidelines and established practices. Actively participate and/or conduct ACOM/DA level Working Group, IPTs or meetings pertaining to Class VII equipping and divestiture. Advises appropriate personnel and offices of adverse trends and/or deviation from prescribed policies.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
