About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst performing staff studies and analysis across-the-board on projects, computer applications, and problems in the wholesale supply management areas.; developing phases of current and long-range supply systems and actions that affect and require coordinated action.
Duties
Serves as a senior supply systems analyst performing staff studies and analysis across the board on projects, computer applications, and problems in the wholesale supply management area.
Serves as a directorate/command member of Army Materiel Command (AMC) Functional Working Groups with authority to commit the command relative to system design/modification.
Serves as a functional specialist and advisor in the design and development of new or revised computer systems impacting on the directorate's operation and mission.
Develops and delivers training for functional personnel.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- This position requires travel of at least 15 percent of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience:
Performing data analytics for sales order processing to improve accuracy, adequacy and timeliness of organizational processes;
Utilizing wholesale automated management systems for supply chain execution, inventory control management and procurement; and
Participating in staff studies and analysis to measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of wholesale supply.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
Education
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
