Duties
Serves as Lead Logistician within the Logistics Services Division (J43); provides team leadership and ensuring the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, values, and goals are integrated in daily work processes of the team.
Communicates work assignments, problems to be solved, milestones, program issues under review, and deadlines for completion; trains/arranges training for team members on administrative and technical aspects to accomplish individual and team tasks.
Manages use of asset management accountable property system of record for property accountability and management; ensures all accountability requirements are maintained in accordance with agency laws, policies, and procedures.
Oversees hand receipt maintenance, schedules and oversees asset inventories, generates performance metrics, and investigates negligence, loss or damage of accountable assets.
Manages the function of all assets from receipt to final transfer of ownership ensuring the quality and integrity of inventory through proper handling, storage, and inspection procedures.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-12 if outside the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as: Leading and training a team on work assignments and projects, conducting comprehensive reviews of logistics data, resolving complex issues, establishing critical milestones, and ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Education is not substitutable for specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level.
