In this role you will be responsible for supporting a dynamic organization by overseeing a multi-level staff spanning the continental United States. Your responsibilities will include overseeing facilities operations, property management, facilities equipment maintenance, and procurement of supplies and equipment to name a few. Financial management, communications, and strategic planning experience highly desired.

As a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA): Exempt
  • Telework Eligibility: This position is telework eligible, but is not a full time telework position. The incumbent will be required to report to the office on a routine basis.
  • If selected, the incumbent must obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance as indicated in job announcement.
  • Occasional temporary duty travel (TDY) is required.
  • Incumbent may be required to operate automotive passenger vehicles in connection with the performance of duties.
  • The incumbent must obtain and maintain a top-secret security clearance with access to sensitive compartmented information (SCI).

Qualifications

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GG/GS-14 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Managing space, property and financial management. Overseeing facilities operations and facilities equipment maintenance. Contracting and procurement including administrative supplies and equipment. Communicating with internal and external customers. Ensuring all policies, techniques, methods, and procedures are consistent with the overall agency goals. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: 1.
