DCSA is seeking a Supervisory Logistics Management to oversee staff of space, facility and geospatial planning specialists. This position must be able to conduct both program analysis and logistics management and manage complex project planning that falls under prospectus or military major land acquisition consideration. As a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties:

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GG/GS-13 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Overseeing Logistics Management centered personnel that provide building/facility/site management, building/facility/site maintenance, supply, procurement, transportation, inventory management, quality assurance, disposal, and various other logistic related services. Establishing short and long-term plans for managing facilities, real property, special projects, budget forecasting and execution. Providing administrative oversight responsibility for multiple locations and associated organizations' real property, including Support Agreements and Service Contracts. Managing support and/or services through inter- and intra-service support agreements. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: 1. Planning and Evaluating - Organizes work, sets priorities, and determines resource requirements; determines short- or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinates with other organizations or parts of the organization to accomplish goals; and monitors progress and evaluates outcomes. 2. Interpersonal Skills - Shows understanding, friendliness, courtesy, tact, empathy, concern, and politeness to others; develops and maintains effective relationships with others; may include effectively dealing with individuals who are difficult, hostile, or distressed; relates well to people from varied backgrounds and different situations; is sensitive to cultural diversity, race, gender, disabilities, and other individual differences. 3. Creative Thinking - Uses imagination to develop new insights into situations and applies innovative solutions to problems; designs new methods where established methods and procedures are inapplicable or are unavailable. 4. Information Management - Identifies a need for and knows where or how to gather information; organizes and maintains information or information management systems. 5. Organizational Awareness - Knows the organization's mission and functions, and how its social, political, and technological systems work and operates effectively within them; this includes the programs, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations of the organization. 6. Performance Management - Apply performance management concepts, principles, practices, and regulations, regarding planning, monitoring, advising on the rating and rewarding of employee performance.
