You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT, N7 of NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE COMMAND.
Duties
You will serve as the Garrison Headquarters Financial Management Lead within the Headquarters Comptroller Division of Commander, Naval Special Warfare Command (CNSWC).
You will provide financial guidance, advice, and support to Headquarters staff to develop and execute annual spend plans for the full spectrum of financial requirements.
You will manage the development and execution of the Headquarters annual travel budget.
You will conduct rigorous financial analysis and deliver assessments and recommendations to leadership.
You will distribute and balance workload and tasks among analysts in accordance with established workflow, skill level, and/or occupational specialization.
You will conduct analysis, troubleshoot, and resolve errors and common problems within the financial system of record and financial feeder systems.
Requirements

- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Administering and/or monitoring the execution (commitment, obligation, expenditure, and disbursement of funds) of assigned program budgets; proficiency utilizing a DoD financial system and the Defense Travel System (DTS).
