The AOC is accepting applications for a journey-level pipefitter to double as an assistant supervisor in the U.S. Capitol Building and Capitol Visitor Center Operations and Maintenance Division.  This position is designated as "Emergency/Essential," the incumbent will be required to report to work during emergencies and inclement weather conditions.

Duties

This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Office of the Chief Operating Officer, Superintendent, Capitol Building, Assistant Superintendent, Capitol Building and Capitol Visitor Center Operations and Maintenance Division, Maintenance Branch, Plumbing Section. The incumbent is a full Assistant Supervisor to the Pipefitter Supervisor. The incumbent supervises and performs pipefitting operations.This position is designated as "Emergency/Essential," the incumbent will be required to report to work during emergencies and inclement weather conditions.Tour of Duty: Evening Shift-Monday through Friday, 12:00pm to 8:30pm. (This position offers the opportunity for overtime.)
