You will serve as a SUPERVISORY OPERATIONS WORK INTEGRATION MANAGER in the ???????office of the Operations Manager (Code 300.1) in the Operations Department (Code 300) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Duties

You will coordinate, oversee, and provide direction to Work Integration Managers/Leaders on projects to properly integrate NSW. You will plan, schedule, direct, and supervise the efforts of the Work Integration Group personnel. You will ensure all non-shipyard work is properly scheduled and integrated with shipyard work to support key events, milestones, and testing strategy, and when conflicting work items are identified, recommend possible corrective actions. You will manage the Work Integration Team to prepare schedules, networks, integration strategies, and other activities listed under specific duties to successfully accomplish nuclear and non-nuclear availabilities

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience ensuring the sequencing and scheduling of all work supports the project team's integration strategy; Experience conducting ongoing risk assessments and mitigation efforts to ensure proper work control integration; Experience with processes and shop work associated with the shipbuilding/repair industry; Experience in ship repair project planning, integration, scheduling and execution strategy; Experience in shipboard systems, interrelationships between ship system and their operating requirements to be able to resolve conflicts between maintenance providers; Experience planning, organizing, and directing the work of a multi-functional group, and to negotiate effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations; Experience preparing schedules, networks, integration strategies, and other activities listed under specific duties to successfully accomplish nuclear and non-nuclear availabilities.
