You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (ENTARCH) in the Enterprise Services of the ACIO/Information Technology Division of the Corporate Operations Department in the of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Duties
You will plan, implement, and operate network services and systems, including hardware and virtual environments to support enterprise mission needs.
You will develop information technology (IT) rules and requirements that describe baseline and target architectures.
You will consult with customers and stakeholders to evaluate functional requirements and translate requirements into technical solutions.
You will develop enterprise architecture or system components required to meet user needs.
You will analyze user needs and requirements to plan architecture.
You will identify and prioritize critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders.
You will capture and integrate essential networks and system capabilities, or business functions required for partial or full system restoration after a catastrophic failure event.
You will document how the implementation of a new system or new interface between systems impacts the current and target environment but not limited to security posture.
You will write detailed functional specifications that document the network architecture development process.
You will conduct risk analysis, feasibility study, and/or trade-off analysis to develop, document, and refine functional requirements and specifications.

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 441, proficiency level Advanced, the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11-12 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing Information Technology principles to plan, design, or implement enterprise architecture system components while ensuring the infrastructure is consistent with strategic goals and in compliance with security requirements. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
