This National Guard position is for an Aviation Resource Management Specialist, Position Description Number NGD2934000 and is part of the 114 OSS FT. This is a Title 32, Dual-Status position.

Duties
As an Aviation Resource Management Specialist, GS-0301-09, you will:
This position is located in the Air Operations Group of an Air National Guard Aviation Wing. The primary purpose of this position is to plan, analyze, manage and control all operational & administrative aspects of aviation resources, safety, training, and flight hours by utilizing the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS).

- Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.

- Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
- Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.
- When 9 skill-level is received, member will hold Advanced Aviation Resource Management Special Cert 066. When criteria are met in IAW AFMAN 11-421, para 5.3.3.1, will receive Special Cert 271. If member is a Regional Functional Manager, hold SEI 063.
Qualifications
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Enlisted up to SMSgt are eligible to apply. For Dual-Status Technician positions service affiliation under Title 32 USC 709 is required. Selected individual must be assigned to a compatible military position in the following AFSC upon date of hire: AFSC 1C0X2. The AFSC requires an aptitude score of A41 and physical profile of G333233. Upon selection, individuals must be assigned to a compatible military AFSC/MOS in accordance with statutes and National Guard Bureau regulations and must obtain/maintain all requirements of the AFSC/MOS.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information. Progressively responsible experience which demonstrates the ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 1 year specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Applicants must have experience providing technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Applicants must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures and practices of management. Experience developing administrative procedures.

Knowledge of extensive body of Aviation Resource Management objectives, policies, technical rules, guidelines, instructions, regulations, policies and precedents to support and flight pay and training requirements.
Knowledge of AF operations, resource management systems and associated programs, interface requirements, browsers, personnel flight records and maintenance.
Skill in applying analytical and investigative techniques to apply regulations, policies and concepts pertaining to aviation resource management to evaluate aeronautical order publication, entitlement pays, physical and physiological requirements, suspensions, disqualifications, revalidations, and requalification.
Knowledge of a wide range of computer/automated data processing techniques, requirements, methods, sources, procedures, system software/hardware and analytical and diagnostic methods.
