Duties
Serves as the DLA Integrated Prevention Program (IPP) Manager at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), (J12) Strategic Workforce Planning and Data Analytics Office
Responsible for providing program implementation oversight, oversee the development, and management of primary prevention programs. This includes the oversight of all DEOCS-related surveys, analysis, focus groups, and action planning activities.
Responsible for building and maintaining effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders, program offices, working groups, and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
Develops and refines prevention policies aimed at addressing harmful behaviors; improving holistic well-being and preventing inter-related problem behaviors such as harassment, discrimination, alcohol misuse, self-harm, and relationship violence.
Designs and conducts applied research to determine the most effective methodologies for collecting and analyzing real-world data.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Social Science Analyst position with DLA, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Basic Requirement: Bachelor's degree or higher in behavioral or social science, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. Applicants MUST submit a copy of their official college transcripts from an accredited educational institution, which reflects that a behavioral or social science or equivalent degree was conferred and the date conferred. Failure to submit your transcripts may result in lost consideration.
OR
Combination of education and experience: A combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
OR
Experience: Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the Specialized Experience requirements listed below:
B. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after- competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Advising management on policies and procedures related to a prevention program implementation.
-Designing and conducting research plans to determine effective methodologies for collecting real world data.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
