This position is located in the Philadelphia Mint Numismatics Division. As a Numismatics Products Production Manager, you will be responsible to the Plant Manager for the administration of the entire division.

Duties

As a Numismatics Products Production Manager, you will: -Direct the formulation of plans, organization objectives, policies, priorities, and procedures to ensure that the mission of the division is accomplished in a timely and efficient manner. - Provide leadership utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles in developing, implementing, and improving processes, procedures, and equipment usage to monitor the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of the division - Develop and execute Numismatics Division annual work plans. Direct the development, monitoring and maintenance of a system of key success measures to reflect actual annual work plans.

Requirements

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Be sure all experience is documented in your resume by indicating place of employment, job title, length of time performing the duties, and the name and contact information for the supervisor. We must be able to verify this experience in your resume in order for you to receive credit. For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: -Providing senior-level management and oversight of high level product production; AND -Providing leadership to subordinate managers and first, second, and third-tier subordinate supervisors; AND -Using lean manufacturing techniques to manage resources, establish controls, promote efficiencies, and ensure quality products/processes are used to meet the production goals. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14 you must have been at the GS-13level for 52 weeks.
