You will serve as a Supervisory Program Analyst in the Research & Development Group, Spectrum Warfare Department, Avionics/Weapons Integration Engineering Division, Electronic Warfare & Attack (EW/EA) Systems Integration Br of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will serve as an inline supervisor in the Electronic Warfare/Attack branch.
You will perform supervisory functions such as performance reviews and evaluations, leave approval, travel approval, timecard certification, hiring and personnel matters.
You will investigate problems and anomalies, provide evaluations, and document system anomalies as required.
You will participate in flight test as the Subject Matter Expert for the system under test.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position is covered under Public Law 114-264, the Program Management Improvement Accountability Act (PMIAA).
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Managing, coordinating and assisting with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Models; 2) Developing plans and making written and oral presentations for those stakeholders on project status, technical problems, scheduling, and costs; 3) Developing and documenting test points and procedures for new software builds, and evaluating new software performance; 4) Characterizing project technical and programmatic risks, developing risk mitigation plans, and managing these risks throughout the project life cycle; 5) Conducting laboratory and ground tests and verifying that the system under test meets performance requirements.
