Duties
Manages Pro Shop, tournament operations, and outside support, supervises staff, assigns duties based on workload, and ensures the clubhouse and grounds are clean and well-maintained.
Coordinates with the General Manager on policy changes, supervises event planning and setup, and collaborates with the Food and Beverage Supervisor for events with food. Supports the General Manager in overseeing facility events.
Oversees Pro Shop buying, budgets, staff training, and operations, including security and coverage for the General Manager.
Supervises the planning, scheduling, coordinating and assists the event activity in all aspects of conducting an organizational, outside or golf course sponsored tournament to include registration, scoring and range and cart setup.
Coordinates with the Food and Beverage Supervisor when the event includes food. Supports General Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising all facility events when necessary.
Oversees both the Food and Golf operations in the absence of the General Manager. Works under the direct supervision of the General Manager.
Requirements
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds. Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Position is subject to a pre-employment physical.
Qualifications
HIGH QUALIFCATIONS:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager.
Current PGA Professional Certification.
Experience and knowledge in golf course operations, including inventory management, Golf Rec Trac program, and EDM uploads.
Ability to identify golf merchandise by brand and category.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Availability to work at multiple locations, including Nagorski and Leilehua.
