This National Guard position is for a HR SPECIALIST (with Recruitment Incentive) - Title 32, Position Description Number D1176000 and is part of the WI 32 IBCT, HHT 1-105 CAV, Wisconsin Army National Guard. ***A Recruitment Incentive of up to 25% of base salary may be authorized for this advertisement (i.e. Step 1 = $14,991.50)*** (Note: This incentive is only applicable to employees entering the Federal Technician program)

Duties

As a HR SPECIALIST (with Recruitment Incentive) - Title 32, GS-0201-9, you will oversee and ensure the accomplishment of work performed in the areas of personnel management, administration, and public relations. The incumbent of this position works under the direction of the Officer in Charge (OIC) or Commander.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information. Progressively responsible experience which demonstrates the ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the GS-09 level, you must have at least 12 months of specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Applicants must have experience providing technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Applicants must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures and practices of management. Experience developing administrative procedures.
