You will serve as a Environmental Protection Specialist under the ISD Directorate of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.
Duties
You will manage the Air Quality Program for the installation.
You will develop MCAGCC’s policy for compliance with all Air Quality regulations.
You will analyze air quality data at the installation to determine future pollution abatement and permit needs analysis.
You will participate in local community environmental work groups to discuss potential impacts of air quality regulations on the installation and local community.
You will determine permit needs and complete permit applications.
You will coordinate and assist with regulatory Agency inspections.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1.) Providing oversight of regular air emissions inspections and consulting with engineers on all new construction and renovations; 2.) Providing advice on equipment purchases, maintenance, and industrial processes; 3.) Reviewing engineering projects, industrial processes, Material Safety Data sheets of hazardous materials, and conducting site visits; AND 4.) Providing interpretation as it related to agency oversight (e.g. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Health and Safety Agency (OSHA), California Air Resource Board (CARB), Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District and Marine Corps).
