Duties

You will serve as External Communication Branch team lead in the Public Affairs Office, U.S. Army Garrison-Hawaii (USAG-HI) and U.S. Army Hawaii (USARHAW). You will provide direct guidance and support to Command leadership, the Public Affairs Director and tenant Public Affairs Officers. You will oversee all aspects of the USAG-HI and USARHAW external community and media relations program, including coordination of communication efforts encompassing 22 installations and 10 USARHAW General Officer commands. You will identify and determine USAG-HI and USARHAW operations, events, activities and issues recommended for public communication activities. You will prepare and present complex material or highly complex issues before a wide variety of audiences.
