This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent will be responsible for provides management and oversight development of the Integrated Resource Strategy series and informs the Chairman's Program Management Review.
Duties
As a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST (OPERATIONS) at the GS-0343-14 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Serves as Management and Program Analyst in the Combined/Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) Division . Performs execution work involving preparation of analyses of annual and/or multi-year budget reports for assigned organizations/programs into consolidated budget reports.
Prepares these communication items with review by the Branch Chief.
Works to keep all program stakeholders informed of program status and issues.
Prepares and delivers detailed presentations and briefings for high-ranking officials in the DoD, up to and including the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Combatant Commands, Services, and Agency staffs.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service:
Developing resource strategies and policy to support a Department's Planning, Programming and Budget Execution Process (PPBE).
Recognizing policy and planning to host internal staff and representatives from staff agencies and industry to determine program status, major milestones, and coordination of each to detect potential slippage or increased costs.
Developing course of action (COAs) to create and identify core issues.
Applying business process engineering concepts and methods to lead or conduct studies to identify potential improvements.
Applying statistical techniques and methodical approaches to reinforce recommendations.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
