You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Insider Threat Division under the Security and Intelligence Directorate of the Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy (DUSN) of DUSN INSIDER THREAT.
Duties
You will support the Director of the DON insider threat program with oversight of the Navy and Marine Corps insider threat programs.
You will conduct periodic assessments and reviews of the Navy and Marine Corps insider threat programs and provide recommendations for improvement.
You will review Navy and Marine Corps insider threat operating procedures and guidelines to determine compliance with DoD and DON insider threat policy.
You will formally brief management of findings, interpretations, and recommendations.
You will serves as an authority regarding program quality controls/internal controls and their applicability to DON Insider Threat Program-wide Internal Review requirements
You will perform formal and informal briefings and presentations to senior management defending a position or to gain support from the stakeholders.
You will analyze the effectiveness and impact of corrective actions implemented to correct deficiencies.
You will manages the organization’s section of the Integrated Risk Management Program, to include planning, reviewing, analysis, monitoring, recommendations, documenting, and tracking

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a final TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
-Experience conducting internal control reviews, quality control, and designing various reviews that analyze and evaluate, on a quantitative and qualitative basis, the effectiveness of program operations to advise management and meet established goals and objectives;
-Experience evaluating management processes and presenting ideas, facts, conclusions, and addressing management issues surfaced in reviews;
-Experience evaluating, summarizing, and preparing reports on program risks and operational weaknesses;
-Experience analyzing and interpreting applicable legislation and organization policies and applying them in the planning and execution of a Quality Assurance review program;
-Experience performing periodic strategic assessment of internal threat review functions to include infrastructure, staff experience, data integrity, and performance relative to business goals, standards, and effectiveness of operating procedures;
-Experience performing cost benefit evaluations of current or projected programs, advising on the distribution of work among positions and organizations and appropriate staffing levels.
