You will serve as a Secretary and Administrative Assistant (OA) to the Commanding Officer, Executive Director, and Executive Officer at NAVSUP FLC PEARL HARBOR.
Duties
You will screen appointments for importance and urgency, and using discretion and knowledge of the Commanding Officer (CO), Executive Director (ED), and Executive Officer (XO) priorities and preferences,
You will maintain CO, ED, and XO calendars, using discretion in establishing priorities for commitment of
their time.
You will make all travel arrangements for the CO, ED and XO.
You will compose routine correspondence.
You will arrange/coordinate conferences, meetings, special events/ceremonies, and visits from
distinguished visitors.
You will receive and review all incoming correspondence and documents routed to the CO, XO or ED for signature, ensuring proper format, grammar, spelling; and relevant background information.
You will maintain inventory of consumable supplies for the office and replenishes them as necessary.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-08) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Secretary work by applying knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures, concepts, principles, and practices sufficient to independently perform a wide range of administrative and technical executive-level support tasks. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have experience utilizing a knowledge of DOD Supply Commands organizational functions and structure, military and civilian protocols, and a substantive knowledge of command policies procedures and objectives in order to discern administrative issues needing immediate attention and taking appropriate action, e.g. prepare non-technical correspondence, review requests for information, review correspondence prepared by others for consistency with policies and/or prepare non-technical reports. Experience must include a knowledge of various support duties, priorities, commitments, policies, and program goals to provide executive level secretarial, communication, and administrative support, while interacting with senior members, advisors, managers, and other personnel in order to perform the following duties: 1) Acting as the primary liaison for all administrative and technical concerns; 2) Maintaining executive-level calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel and meetings including site requirements, agenda, and visual aids; 3) Reviewing incoming and outgoing correspondence, and ensuring outgoing correspondence includes proper formatting, spelling, sentence structure, conformance with general policy, and factual information; and 4) Using automated office information software, specifically Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and the Defense Travel System; the skill of a qualified typist is required.
