This position is located within the Administrative Department of the Pine Ridge Service Unit in Pine Ridge, SD. The incumbent will provide a complete range of clerical and administrative support services to the Clinical Director, Deputy Clinical Director and the Clinical Services Administrator. The position plays a central role in coordinating the overall administrative workflow.
Duties
Performs a wide variety of administrative support tasks required to support the work of the organization.
Serves as point of contact for scheduling meetings, conference rooms, schedules appointments, attends meetings and prepares meeting minutes.
Enters information into established databases and similar systems which track various administrative activities of the organization.
Receives visitors and incoming calls. Ascertains nature of business and determines appropriate course of action.
Receives and makes calls for executive staff.
Ensures Clinical Department personnel files are updated and completed per PRSU policies and accreditation requirements.
Qualifications

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Your resume must demonstrate the following education and/or experience as outlined below for the grade level(s) you are applying to. Any specialized experience must be equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the tasks as identified.
GS-05: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-04 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: perform record keeping, reporting, and informational duties. Receive, route and handle incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence. Enter information into established databases or logs. Or four (4) years of education above high school. Or a combination of education and experience that when combined fully meet the minimum qualifications for the position. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement.
GS-06: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Compile data/reports. Prepare for administrative meetings. Collect data for specific monitoring activities. Receive messages and inquiries. Manage appointment and documents, power point presentations and reports. Ensure documents conform to the guidelines of the organization.
GS-07: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Utilize automation software such as Microsoft work excel to compile reports as needed by management. Manage appointment and meeting schedules. Purchase supplies, equipment and other materials utilizing prescribed purchasing guidelines and procedures. Able to communicate in a clear and concise form both orally and written.
Time In Grade
Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).

Education
You may qualify for the GS-05 using education. If you are applying to the GS-05 and wanting to qualify with education, you are strongly encouraged to submit a copy of your transcripts or a list of your courses including titles, credit hours completed, and grades.
